AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapy involves the use of natural substances known as 'essential oils', which are extracted from various species of flowers, grasses, leaves, fruits, trees and roots. Each individual oil possesses different properties which can be combined into gentle remedies.

The selected essential oils are blended with a carrier/base massage oil to create a unique mix for each client’s individual needs. The blend is usually applied to the skin with traditional body massage. Other massage techniques such as deep tissue work may also be used, depending on the client’s requirement.

BENEFITS

Many different types of ailments can be addressed by aromatherapy, which is also a very relaxing type of treatment. Skin problems, stress, muscle tension and insomnia are but some of the health problems that aromatherapy can help combat.
